We actully ran into an issue like this at work...a video embedded in a web page would only play part-way but if you downloaded it and played it from your computer it would play the entire video. I believe it has something to do with the encoding and how Windows Media Player handles streaming content. We never really found a good fix for the issue as it seems to be an issue with Microsoft.

As someone who makes part of his (very meager) living selling self-produced content I understand where the Futanaria people are (I assume) coming from. They put a lot of time, effort, and money into making these videos that you guys really like and it isn't fair to them to give it away for free.
I wish we lived in a world without money where we could all share the things we love freely with everyone, but we really don't.
