It looks to me from the pics like most of your spinal-curve may be in one place - probably upper-mid-back. I think you'll end up with more depth, more ease, and happier back in the long-run if you can spread the curve out more evenly.
I know I can sound like a broken record, with "do the plow" "do the plow" "do the plow", but... do the plow! It'll make other positions easier, and it's the best way to work on a good spinal-curve, especially if you watch yourself from the side with mirrors or a video camera and monitor.

You obviously have a lot of upper-body strength (which I don't) so I could see how positions where you pull yourself in would work well for you. Still; I'd suggest spending some time in Plow, and doing it in a place where there's something you can hook your feet under - ideally (for me at least) a couple of feet above the surface your body is resting on.
