Before you produced your own selfsuck vids, I remember you were featured in a couple of vids produced by others, one a compilation. I remember one compilation called "Blow Your Own Horn". Were you in that one? In one you had pretty long hair in a pony tail. Was that late 1970s, early 1980s?

The music in the compilation clip was nice and kinky.

Have you saved copies of them, and if so, can you post them? Hope you can...it's part of self suck history!

I think Al was also in one called Solitaire ( as Paul Alexander ). From what I remember it was only a test shoot and wasn't meant to be used. The guy who shot it released it on a compilation ( Solitaire ) without consent from Al.

Yes, Solitaire may be the one I remembered. I found it in a porn shop on Hollywood Boulevard in the 1980s, and couldn't wait to get home to put it in the tape player. Al's clip in that compilation was the first and best self suck scene I had seen up until then. When I did, I couldn't believe that I finally found someone else who could really self suck. Not long after that, I found Al's real name, and contact information when I ordered his A Young Man From Nantucket. It was the beginning of a long self suck party!

It was Solitaire because a friend gave me the VHS tape. I also saw him in another video from way back but I can't recall what the name was. I know he was credited as Paul Alexander in one but not sure about the other, but it certainly wasn't Al Eingang.

Sorry to be a while - I was doing that annoying working to make a living thing. Shouldn't I have been declared a National Treasure and given a nice stipend to live on by now?

I wish I could post my first three video performances, but I think all three are still being sold commercially.

The first was Solitaire - shot by an opportunist who claimed he would only ever show it in his club in SF, the fucker. I did eventually get some money out of him, but I wish I hadn't done so, since I signed away any rights to it in the process.

The other two were good experiences, with two good men - Christopher Rage included a scene he shot of me in Master Hyde, and Michael Goodwin used a scene I shot of myself in Crazy Horny Nutz. Both of these guys were my mentors as I moved into making my own videos - offering advice and encouragement, and helping me to understand that making my own videos and selling them myself was the way to go.

Too bad about the commercial rights issue for the early vids. I would love to have your Solitaire clip just for old times sake, if not for the wonderful kinky music that played with it. That tune still goes off in my head when I'm self sucking.

I forgot to complete my filmography with my one appearance in a mainstream porn film! My friend Jerry Douglas wrote a part for me in The Diamond Stud, and flew me out to LA for the shoot. I think I've said before in the forums that it was the only time I've had a problem getting a hardon while filming. Having 20 people standing around waiting for you dick to stiffen can be a real boner-killer!
