Okay, so the first thing I tried was mineral oil and milk at a four to one ratio. Colour was decent, but the texture was way off. The oil is not thick enough, although close, and the milk and oil won't mix. The milk just stays in separate little bubbles. Back to the mixing board.

The idea was that I like the taste of milk, and mineral oil is tasteless and both are completely safe to be ingested.
