I used to occasionally get a rug burn on the center of my back while self sucking. I found that by placing a soft bath mat or certain types of soft towels under me prevent this from happening. I do it best by laying on a hard surface, so doing it on a bed doesn't work well for me. Once Ihad a rug burn so bad it formed a round scab the size of a quarter on the back of my neck. I mentioned this a few years ago on here but this is the first time I recall seen others mentioning the rug burns. I guess we could call them our battle scars.
