The only risks I know of is the chance of injury to your back or neck. Be careful and don't over do it. I first licked it at 14 and tried again and was able to make contact again at 28. Two years later, I'm still trying and unable to get the head in. Just because you can lick it doesn't mean you're going to be sucking yourself right away. If you get to zealous, you can get hurt very bad. Wait until you back quits hurting or you're running the chance of making it worse. Good luck!
