what is Secondlife?

Secondlife is an online 3D digital "world" - kind of like a video game but much more elaborate; the idea is that the physical world is your First Life and secondlife is... your second life, I guess. I've never tried it, but it's fascinating that there's self-suck in there!

Oh, I understand there's a lot of stuff there you'd only expect to see in reality, like conferences and real companies marketing real products.
