Antihistamine can cause weight gain preventing selfsucking

As you may have seen me mention before I can't really selfsuck/selflick anymore because I need to lose weight. I had been around 195 lbs for many years and had in the last couple of years gone up to 210 lbs. I wasn't sure what was causing it because my lifestyle hadn't changed. I was eating the same foods and getting the same level of exercise.
I have very bad seasonal allergies. Living in the Phoenix area where it's always warm, they're not so much seasonal but year-round. I had been taking store-brand Claritin daily for years and was finding that the 24-hour claim wasn't so accurate. I asked my doctor and he suggested a stronger antihistamine such as Zyrtec. I got the store brand, since it's cheaper and have been using it daily for the past couple of years. It worked much better than the other kind but after a while I started to notice it wasn't lasting 24 hours anymore. Whenever I go to someone's house where they have dogs (I don't seem to be allergic to cats) my allergies flare up pretty bad. It usually causes a tingling, scratchiness in my throat and causes sneezing.
I had mentioned a couple of weeks ago that I have been going to a chiropractor/pain management clinic. They also do allergy testing there and I talked to the nurse and he suggested I get tested to see what it was I am allergic to. It turns out quite a bit. I told him that the generic Zyrtec wasn't working so well anymore and he told me that before allergy pills were available that shots were the preferred treatment. But our society as it is, prefers taking pills for everything. I have a bad habit of not taking them every day, especially on the weekends when I sleep in and don't always have breakfast, which is when I take it during the week. I usually end up regretting it when I have an allergic reaction later in the day. Anyway, I decided to get the shot, which they administer in the buttocks (and recommend getting every 3-4 months) and almost immediately my allergies are 99% better.
My wife and I have recently gone on Weight Watchers and I've been very bad, exceeding my point allocation almost daily. But I've been weighing myself and noticed that each day I was losing weight. It's been about 10 days since I got the shot and so far I've lost 8 lbs, which is astounding. I had heard that antihistamines work by slowing your metabolism, and I know that happens and your calorie intake remains constant, you can gain weight. I started researching whether antihistamines cause weight gain and it appears to have some validity. According to an article on MSNBC.com from 2011, a study was showing that this can happen and specifically Zyrtec and it's generic equivalents had this side effect. I asked the nurse about it this week and he said that antihistamines can cause water retention, but I think it's more than that. I kind of doubt I'd lose weight this fast if it was just water retention.
I know if I lost more weight through diet and exercise it would also help, but I've found that difficult. However, at the clinic they have stretching equipment. One device is a Precor Stretch Trainer and it does eight different stretches. One of them is for the hamstrings, which for me have always been tight. Another one stretches the hips and glutes, and another stretches the back. Perhaps I should buy one of these machines, assuming it isn't too expensive.
I am anxious to see how much more weight I can lose. I think my best selfsucking was when I was 175 lbs which was about 8-9 years ago. Perhaps I will see if I can get back into sucking on the tip which was pretty much the best I've been able to do during my selfsucking attempts. I will need to take it easy however as I am still getting chiropractic treatment. Perhaps I should focus on the C-position more as it will likely put less stress on my neck. I have noticed when doing the stretches for my back that my belly doesn't get in the way as much, which has been a major obstacle in my selfsucking. It's causing my erection to point away from me. If I lost some of my belly, I am sure I could get a more direct angle to my mouth.
