I love to read how your quests for more depth are going. Mainly to compare my progress. The last few years I went from taking an hour stretching to lick my cock. Now it’s less than a minute. About 15 minutes more to get my lips just beyond the tip. Another 15 minutes to get another inch. Dude, these days, if I can't go all the way, right away, I'm having a stiff day or I ate too much. Sounds too good to be true, but it's real.
I also put muscle into pulling with my arms wrapped around, used to go around above the knees, but near my ass is better, and that was a level up for me on depth.
Be careful with putting force in though, I had muscle injuries a couple times (neck, shoulder) and had to take WEEKS off of ss, which nearly drove me insane.
The time it takes to get that depth, the way you get more by spending time curled up,

I’ll stay with my C position for now but will try the sitting C on a chair rather than my usual sitting C on the floor. Any opinions on the mechanics of those two?

I don't think it makes a depth difference, but it feels awesome.
C isn't my first choice, but it's the most convenient if I can't use a bed,
and some chairs work better than others, but I'll periodically stand up and stretch backwards like sun salutation, and I'll go forward and touch my toes too, I don't think it's as good as laying down to get that backward stretch, but it does help.

I neglected to mention that I almost always stretch beforehand, for probably about 15 minutes or so, but then I'm starting the session with the warmup period basically eliminated.
If its a spontaneous cold start it might take me 20 or 30 minutes to get my depth.
I'm rooting for you polevaulter, you can do it. I think we're all pursuing that perfect session.

My dildo assist trial didn’t seem to help to get deeper sucking.
