Well, what worked for me was a back roller on the side of the tub covered with a towel. Use your hand underneath yourself to help get leverage so you can angle the head better. If you're too hard it won't work, if you're too soft it won't work either. You have to have a good balance.

Also, stretching the front muscle takes some practice. You will probably be able to get it in if you keep practicing, just don't be too aggressive/impatient and hurt yourself.
