Anyone having problems with the forums?

One of our long-time members has been having problems with Private Messages and replies to posts not going through - he's getting error messages.

I'm working with tech support guys to try to figure out what's going on. Please let me know if you've had any problems! We did move the forums to a new server recently and that seems to be the problem.

I'm not having any issues at all Al. If he's behind a VPN though... I found I can't post at all while my VPN is set to any country other than the actual country I'm in. IE: If I set it to Canada (which is where I actually live) its fine. If I set it to any other country including the USA right next door, I can't post at all.

Thanks buddy - I hadn't thought of that as a possibility. I'm still waiting to hear back from Shamman about the problems he's been having.

ok. now I'm getting that error.. but only in the private message system...

Can you tell me exactly what happened? You composed a PM and got the error message when you hit send?

It was technically a "reply" to a private message, but I just retried it now and it sent fine.. so nevermind...

Grrrrr - the hosting company had to move us to a different sever and now there are the worst kind of problems - they come and go with no apparent logic, which makes it impossible to figure out what the underlying problem is...

If anyone else has problems, please let me know, here or via PM or email!
