still using win98 and cant use divx... I have directx 8.something.. vid only plays sound. any help is greatly appreciated. Is it possible or am I hosed?

Hosed, unfortunately. The lastest Divx requires at least Windows 2000. You can try searching the net for a version for 98, but I doubt you'll find it.

Thank you for your reply Spektrum, much appreciated even if it isin't what I had hoped to hear. I know I should do some updating round here but I guess I just like sitting on my hands too much. hehe Besides, Gates and co. never release software that doesn't need immediate updates and etc.... that always bugs me.
