Don't let the injury put you off! I had a similar experience when younger, laying off for some time because, initially, I found it painful. Now though, I wished I persevered; I think I would be further advanced. I mean, I had a weak ankle, kept spraining it playing rugby when younger and kept taking time out for it to heal.
