Anyone suffered continuing back pain?
Hey,
I have been able to ss for some time... from the time I was about 18 or so... but could onyl get in a little bit.
That was about 8 years ago, and I put on a lot of weight between then and now... and basically couldn't do it anymore, and didn't.
Over the last year, I lost about 80 lbs and got way more flexible and skinny.. so, I was able to do it again. Over the last month or two, I probably did it 5 or 6 times... maybe once a week or something. Each time, I felt a little bit of pain in my back the next day - sometimes even right then... but it was never serious/severe pain... it felt like there was a small pulling... it would go away after a a day or two.
About 3 weeks ago, I was able to get really far with it... and while I didn't have any immediate pain, I think I pushed things a bit too far... and I did get the pain again. But this time, it didn't go away... it still hurt the next day, and the following day I had kind of spasms in my abdomen a little bit. (just the next day, and then that went away).
Since then, I have been having a pain on the side of my spine, in the muscle there... it feels like a dull ache or numbness.... right in my middle back. And then, also, my lower back seems to be pulling at times too, like it is affecting that.
How concerned should I be?? It has been 2 or 3 weeks, and it has not gone away, even though I haven't done it at all since this happened. Has anyone else had this last this long and then go away? Should I be worried that I damaged something permanently?

Chronic back pain lasts quite a while. Without muscle relaxants and/or painkillers the pain and stiffness can go for up to six weeks. However numbness is the sign of nerve conduction issues. Go see your doctor and let him know you think you have a pull or tear and be specific about the numbness. How you hurt it is immaterial. Tell him you were doubled over changing a tire on your car... Its the same sort of bending and twisting as what we do here... Or tell him the truth if he/she's cool enough.. a pinched nerve requires a different treatment than a pulled muscle and there are different tests they can do to determine the extent of the injury. But do get it looked at sooner than later.
Do it with pride or don't bother doing it!

If you can get to a gym or even rig up something where you can just hang and pull your knees to your chest and relax. Breath long slow breaths for at least 3 minutes. This will straighten out your spine and let the vertebra resume their natural positions. Drink lots and lots of water as the disc between vertebrae are 90 water. Later continue while lying on the floor and pull one knee to your check for a 10 count and relax. Do this 10 times. You may have an injured tendon or compressed nerve ending. Long hot soaks in a tub will aid things along. Get someone (Male preferable with plenty of power) to massage the area in the hollow of your pelvis hip almost where the hip joint is located. Sometimes an overextention there will send pain elsewhere.

I had ALMOST the exact same symptoms except the numbness that lasted about six weeks. Do not try to self suck until it heals. Get it checked out. Mine was a pulled muscle.

Thanks all!
So... it sounds like I just need to give it more time. That is good to know.
I don't have any insurance to speak of (well, I do, but it's a $2000 deductible, so)... going to the doctor isn't a very good option. I am planning to see the chiropractor this week, though.
I don't know if it is quite numbness... it's just a sensation of feeling, but not pain, I guess. I don't quite know how to describe it... something just feels "off" in that area, but it's not pain.
In any event, I won't have any problem not doing it until it heals... I probably won't do it ever again, if this is what could happen. This really worried me about permanent damage.

Sorry to hear you're having this problem, man. Backs are mysterious, complicated things and NO ONE really understands back injuries - read up on medical opinions and you'll find many different theories.
Not that that helps you any, but I'd hate to see you walking away from this with the idea that you'll never be able to suck your cock again. One of the funny, annoying, DUMB things that our bodies tend to do - especially with back problems - is to put muscles into long-lasting, PAINFUL spasms around areas of great strain or even very mild injury.
I have no way of knowing if this is what's going on with you, but it happens to pretty much everyone at some point, whether they're sucking their own cock or just leaning over or twisting "wrong".
In my experience the best treatment for this is very, very gradual and gentle stretching - when my back has muscle spasms I do sideways stretches on the floor and it fixes me right up, though it takes a different amount of stretching each time.
If you have had good experiences with chiropractors then by all means go to one you trust - they've never done much for me but I know people who can't live without'em.
Best of luck - I hope you fell all better soon!

Re: Anyone suffered continuing back pain?
Oddly enough, I'm currently suffering back pain. But it came from changing a full size truck tire during one of my towing shifts about two weeks ago. I'm still stiff. It sucks, cause even a good orgasm can cause some discomforting or all out painful back spasms....

Do it with pride or don't bother doing it!

I had the same fear. I thought I'd never suck myself again. But with patients I waited until I felt no pain before I tried to stretch. I have lost some flexibility during the healing but i am confident i will regain it. Let your back heal completely and then try again.
