What household items do you use to losen up a very tight ass

I want to get into this but my ass is way to tight and i dont' want to buy plugs or anything, so is there anything i can use to losen it up? or what would u suggest starting out.

Start with fingers, from there Sharpie Magic Markers, the grey ones with the black caps. They have a nice vibrator like shape but are more slender.
