I doubt it's true, the article has many flaws in it.. One that stuck out most in my eyes was:

They now must also have all of their original ribs, as the contest of 1998 proved to be largely unfair in Marilyn Manson's favour

I could go on and on about this since I read his autobio and also it's widely known that MM did not have any ribs removed NOR ever proformed self-suck. It goes a long ways back to a concert proformance that involved a woman with a dildo.
