SS ruins your posture

Hi! Welcome to the Auto-Fellatio Kingdom Self-Suck Bulletin Board. I hope people will use it make connections and initiate discussions on one of the most pressing topics of our day; solo cock-sucking. If this is your first visit, please read "Guide for newcomers" below. Enjoy! Al Eingang

SS ruins your posture

Post by ronny »

Hi im new here and wanted to drop a comment about SSing. I am currently 27 years old, and was a really good SSer back when I was 12-15. But through out my tean years my posture was horrible, my head would always dip forward and people were always either making fun of me about that or some people try to tell me I needed help.

I tried to keep a good posture but SSing all the time made me look like a hunchback of some sorts. I then decided to stop SSing, and 3 years later my posture pretty much went back to normal.

Well 12 years later (now) I am getting back into SSing again, and I have been doing it now for 2 weeks, and just last night I finally was able to get my tounge to touch my penis, it felt great (just like old times), but I looked in the mirror today and seen my head is starting to dip forward again!!!

Well, I am offically putting an end to my SSing, simply because I do not want to ruin my posture. It is simply not worth it to me.

The key is to develop flexibility, not just to condition yourself to reach. IF you train your body to be able to reach by forcing then yes, it will ruin your posture. I've been doing this for years, and my posture is fine. You have to do stretches and excersizes of all sorts to maintain your flexibility and your posture.

So... Sorry, while doing this could ruin your posture, it's not guaranteed to.
Do it with pride or don't bother doing it!

I've found that it has actually improved my posture.

I guess it depends on how you're doing it.

I treat SS as a form of exercise and modified yoga. I have had my fair share of injuries from overdoing it but never have had bad posture.

Back off a bit and take it easy. Might want to stick around and see what happens.

I've had a tendency to slouch forward all of my life, and I'm also a great selfsucker - both because I have a genetic condition that makes me extra-flexi. Sounds like Ronni might have something similar going on. Doing yoga is really great for this - just remember the yogic idea that forward bending should be matched with backward bending. It's certainly nowhere near as much fun as the front-bends, but I make sure I do a good session of backbending after I suck my dick. I always have to work on my posture and always will but I don't think selfing has made it worse, and if it has - it's worth it!

My posture has always been poor. I slouched when I was a kid because I was taller than most kids and was somewhat self-conscious about it. I also have mild scoliosis but I don't have any back problems other than occasional back spasms, usually after selfing. I do have a bad habit of not sitting upright in chairs, but I don't know if that's going to give me problems later on.

I have seen old men who are bent over and can't stand upright. I am sure this is because of extreme arthritis but I can't help but wonder if that guy used to selfsuck when he was younger and that is the reason for their condition. Realistically though, I haven't heard of anyone suffering major back problems from doing this. Of course, since discussion of autofellatio is fairly new, so who knows? Perhaps there should be a long-term study.

Unless you have back problems, posture is just a matter of being aware that you're slouching and standing up straight. The human body is quite resilient, so I doubt you're going to do much harm by selfing as long as you stop if you feel pain.

If you neglect to do the things daily it requires to fix and or improve your posture, then yes, SS'ing will make it worse.
